Lynn, thank you for that quote. I shall put it up somewhere I can see it, as I need to be reminded of that fact.

Edda, we have never met Leon either, but somehow I feel I know him.

Betty, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.......they worked.

Barbara, there is an affirmation which I find quite helpful, although it's a hard one to believe sometimes.

"All my needs are met."

Marie, I'm thinking of you and all the things you are having to do just now. Oh, how I remember the last (and only) time I moved house.

Today I am grateful for a fruitful session with the counsellor. We did some "real, good hard work" (my description) and some of it's success is thanks to Betty for helping me to be brave.
An unexpected turn of events emerged, in that my Son admitted to himself as well as the therapist and me, that he hasn't grieved properly for the loss of his parents as he knew them. It appears that a lot of his attitude towards me goes back to his feelings of loss when his parents split up.
There's hope for us yet.

Today I am grateful for a feeling of peace and able to enjoy the day. Whatever will be, will be. With many prayers and much focus to the future, letting go of the "stuff" meaning everything. I am grateful for a good day despite everything not going as well as anticipated.

I found this about 17 years when I was working in a health spa. I copied and saved it all these years because each time I read it, I feel at peace. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do. ( not sure if I posted it before or not. lol)

Today I am most grateful for spending the morning with my mentor as he passed through town going from here to there. It is always good to be challenged, where necessary and invited to continued growth when one didn't even realize that things had been allowed to slide and some even stop altogether. A true friend, does not just accept but invites.

I am grateful that no matter how challenging timing is in my life I have you and this thread to renew. I am grateful for all your inspiring contributions to the REFF newsletter..."Bridges Across The Water" feature has been a great success all who read it are inspired at our last meeting 2 people came up and repeated some of the inspirational quotes I added from here...please email me with any latest from any country for our next edition. I am also grateful for the awesome power of God and his miracles in my life how he displays his knowing of my doubts and sends his strength through others......will try to share what arrived to me at a most emotive, down moment yesterday. they reported they gave order for cut off yesterday after making a payment arrangement that I kept...this email arrived. Another of my Mom's favorite hymns to be belted out at times like these in her life and 1 of her favorite singers Anne Murray ,the night before I had a dream that a 12 story tall angel was behind me no matter where I went.....today my gas is on I called the gas company and in very bewildered mind/voice the man said it shows here in my records your gas is off I'm confused...I told him I'm not I sent up a prayer of gratitude not for the gas but for the presence of God touching me today...and everyday even when I doubt or fear he is not there........hope the link works it is beautiful.

Today I am grateful for a walk along miles of meadows with literally millions of colorful wildflowers. I spotted a young man, who was walking extremely slowly. I thought that maybe he needed help. When I reached him, he was sitting in a spot beside the path, immovable, upright, eyes closed, meditating.
It was the first time I had seen someone meditate outside. Impressive.

Juiana, Walking meditation is something I have always intended to do, but never got around to.

I wish I could have seen all those wild flowers.

Gracious, gentle, and kind folks,
Today I too am up early and listening to the birds. How beautiful they sound!

I remember that birds sing regardless every day. It is simply an expression of their bird nature.

I try to remember that it is part of my nature to sing every day and enjoy the delightful beauty all around us.

This forum has helped me to realize the value of just sitting and allowing the wonders of the world to rejuvenate and nourish my soul.
