Today I am grateful for the great life given to me and that with MS I'm still walking, but for the grace of God,I have bouts of falling but as usual I get back up again as I have all my life.

Welcome back, China 34,

Sounds like it's time to really applaud yourself, yes, I am serious. I agree with you that it is the grace of God that you are still walking but each of us is free to say yes or no to that grace/inspiration of the spirit. I am sure that there are many with MS who have just given up. You obviously have said yes to God's grace and decided to keep trying. Your courage is an example to all of us.

May you continue to be blessed.

Hi;it's great to make changes in my self and my whole life,it's so hard to explain how much I am beginning to appreciate life no matter what,I still have lots of issues to deal with but so far I have not found any thing very complicated and that at least I can try if any thing.MS is a severe dibilitating disease the sad part is that doctors tell every one to stay in a wheel chair including me(not)that is why people with MS are so depressed and give up,odd thing the gov.dosen't recognize MS  but a disease they invented called lupus is treated(?)which I feel is the same disease!

The japanese have a saying;  `Fall down seven, get up eight`  It is attributed to Bodhidarma, an early Indian monk who impoted Buddhism to China.

My sister succumbed to MS at an early age of fifty-three after fifteen or more years of anger, frustration, denial and finally acceptance.  Although Lupus and MS are not physiologicly the same disease, they do appear to manifest themselves in a devilishly similar manner.  I have a friend in Japan with Lupus, who has been expecting to die for three or four years now. She tells us she now weighs 62 pounds and has lost sight in one eye.  She feels her connection to life is through the love of her friends. And, I can sense that your also have that working for you; bless you.

The quote reference to changing the world may come from Gandhi; you can look it up at this website.

my good and best wishes go out to you, rj
