May today there be peace within
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you....
May you be content knowing you are a child of God...
Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Thank you Jeni. I know I can use all the prayers I can get! I lost my son at the age of 17 in 2003 to a person who shot him in the head. My son's wishes were to be an organ and tissue donor. I am glad I did that. Now I know he lives on in others. I miss him so terribly! Now my oldest son's wife left him for an older man, and took my grandson away from me also. I beg to see him almost everyday! He is 14 months old. His pictures are on my son's memorial sites that I have created to keep his memory alive forever! I don't ever want to have him forgotten. No one likes to talk to me when they learn that I have a son that was murdered. They all say they are sorry for my loss. I know they don't understand what a mother goes through when she loses a child. Having one in jail is no different. I read that post also. It is so sad, just when you think you can't cry anymore, the tears still come for you. especially at night when you are alone. Please pray that my daughter-in-law sees the light and lets me see my grandson again! Thank you so much for the beautiful prayer you have written here. You are so kind.

Dottie, I am just reading about all your sorrows and I am touched. Yes, it is easy to say, I am sorry, and it seems so inadequate, but it is sincerely said. You are in my prayers.

Thank you Edda,

What I meant is that when people say they are so sorry, they have nothing to be sorry for! They didn't do anything wrong! And the one person that should tell me he is sorry, won't talk to me! He admitted to me that he shot my son. He was only 15 at the time. The police never did a thing to him. He never even got picked up for questioning! It makes me so angry! I know I have to forgive, It is what the Lord wants us all to do, but sometimes it is so hard!!! I have been living without him for going on 4 years now. April 3rd, 2003 is when he got shot. He lived for 18 hours, then was pronounced brain dead. Sometimes I wonder if he would have ever come back to me if I would have waited a little longer. Miracle do happen. It is too late now though. He was 1 month and 20 days away from being 18. He was so excited. He had plans all laid out. He knew exactly what he was going to do...join the marines. Now that will never happen, and I will never know who he would have married or if he would have had any children, stuff like that haunts me everyday! Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. They are more appreciated than you could ever know!

Thank you Jeni
I can use all the prayers I can get right now! My oldest son got married on June 24, 2006, and he is 23, his wife is 18 they have a 14 month old baby boy, on August 18, 2006 she left him for a 34 year old man! She took the baby with her, and now I don't hardly get to see him at all. It hurts so bad! I was the one to raise him since he was born, cause all she would do is eat and sleep, she gained about 80 pounds. she went from a size 8 to a size 22! She wouldn't clean the house or take care of the baby or anything! Now I have had him just ripped out of my life! It hurts almost as much as losing a child. My son cries for his baby all the time, and He wants custody, but she won't let either one of us near him! We are trying desperately to come up with the money ($2,000.00) to get a lawyer to fight for custody, but he can't get a loan because he has no credit, and I can't get one because I live on disability. It just seems like one thing after another. I wish there was a rich person I knew that could just give him the money, I would so much love to see him happy for once since his brother died. Things have been so hard on both of us. Thank you for your prayers. All of them are very much appreciated!

“I am the Resurrection and the life;
those who believe in me, though they die,
will live; and everyone who lives and
believes in me will never die.” John 11:25-26

Your son is beautiful. I looked on your website for him.
Remember, your son is not here, but he did not die. He's still living & waiting for you and all the people he loves. The Lord has given him peace. This is be beauty of our Savior - he died so we could live.
Bless you & yours; your in my prayers for healing.

dwkaye,
thank you so much. I know that he lives on, just not here with us anymore. I can't wait to be with him again. I miss him so much. I feel him in everything I do and everywhere I go. I know he is still with me. Just like I know the Lord Jesus Christ is always with me. Thank you for your kind words. You are truly an earthly angel in my book.
