Today I am very grateful that my nephew will be getting out of the hospital. I am awaiting a call from my sister to help her take him home...He is a special child...He was hit by a drunk driver over 12yrs ago....He was a senior in the gifted and talented program in his high school...He had a full ride scholarship to Baylor....He always wanted to be a Dr...Even though the Dr's did not give him much hope, he is still with us....Completely bed ridden...My sister takes care of him and has done an excellent job...He recently caught a cold and was hospitalized because of asthma.....Today he is being released after 11 days!!!Praise God......

Welcome to the forum, Linda. I am so sorry to hear about your nephew. Many times, life can deal a very bad hand. It sounds like your sister, your nephew and you have kept on keeping on in spite of the tragedy that has befallen all of you. That takes real courage and faith. I am pleased to hear that he will be released from the hospital and is doing much better. Know that your sister, your nephew and you will be held in prayer. May you truly be blessed.
