I am grateful that after 9 years-two brain surgeries, chemo and radiation to head and spine-that my husband has had almost 6 months of feeling good.  His last surgery was in March of this year!

That's definitely something to be grateful for!

I hope you and your husband are celebrating and enjoying every single day!

Lori

I feel with you, Nancy, as my son had brain surgery when he was 6 years old. The prospects given by the doctors were not good at all. I hardly slept at the time, praying, crying out to God. Three weeks later he was back home - safe and sound. I will never forget this time of my life and of his, remaining deeply grateful. I am praying for you and your husband! Blessings!  Juliana

Nancy, our prayers go out to you and your husband. It hasn't been that many years since it was necessary to have the discussion with an immediate family member as to when to as he put it, "pull the plug" if brain surgery turned out badly. Thank you for the reminder of being grateful that it was not necessary to pull "the plug" in spite of the odds being against at least mostly successful surgery.
