Today is my birthday and for fun, I invited some friends to gift their dream to the world, what they envision or hope for those they know and don't know, to send a blessing to someone they love...or someone they hate.

I believe in the power of prayer to turn the tide for the sick, the destitute, the lonely and bereft, but I also believe in the power of prayer to give wings to our joy, to stir up gentle breezes of change through the beating of those wings as we take flight, as we take a chance on our dreams.

So I have to admit, I am curious. What do you dream of? What are your hopes, your aspirations? I'd like to invite you to light a candle for something very near and dear to you in my group, "DREAM". To shed a little light on something perhaps forgotten, to light a concern, to illuminate a dusty corner, to draw back the curtain to let the sun's rays nudge a dream that has too long lain asleep.

I invite you and I join you to add our energies together and support one another in a beautiful synergy of mutual prayer.

Blessings always

Happy Birthday! I pray that your dreams be fulfilled.
My dream is for a world where people really listen to each other, respect each other so that violence may cease and peace have a chance. I and we all can contribute to this in our daily lives by practicing what we hope for. Truly listening to each other is a beginning.
Edda

Thank you, Edda! What a beautiul dream. Yes, to listen is the beginning. To listen to another is one of the greatest gifts we can offer and to be heard is the most powerful catalyst for healing. I have found in my journey of healing that this is true for me, and have observed just how profoundly life-changing that can be for others.

But in order to listen to another, I think, we need to silence all the noise in our own heads that steal so much of our attention, and to feel comfortable enough in our own skins to be there for another. Truly listening to another forces us to be more authentic with ourselves...in this sense, when another comes to us and asks us for our compassionate attention, they are gifting us!

Your attention to all the prayers here is truly inspiring.

My DREAM candle tonight:

"I dream of a world where soldiers may lay down their weapons and activists like me become obsolete."

I keep dreaming of someone familar, yet foreign. Someone who knows my soul.  I feel at peace with this person, I feel a very postive nuturing bond. I have kept a dream journal for over 15 years. I believe this person is quite real..and the connection is almost there. I dream that he will reveal himeself to me in good time.. I lit a candle in your group today. Thank you for embracing the power of dreams

Dear Pikorua,

I saw your candle last night and felt your deep love within the flame. Thank you for sharing your heart's desire here. I will not only hold your dream in my heart, but see you ever so ready and ever so willing to embrace this dream when it makes that wonderful shift from dream to reality. May your arms open as wide as your loving heart.

Bless you dear one

Dear DreamSinger,
Thank you for such  heartfelt thoughts. I am not one prone to fantasy or wild wishes. Yet I know with conviction this person I dream of, is as real as the air I breathe and the wind that blows across my face and tosses my hair. I am also quite aware I block my own energy. I am afraid of receiving. Thank you for holding my dream in your heart. I am gracious and appreciative. I once wrote.."Six breaths, shared space in sync thoughts. You will find me amoung the darkness but I have already felt you." I feel him more definitively then ever. I will not forget you.

Sincerely, Pikorou

Pikorou,

I posted a poem here for you and for each of us who desires to allow ourselves to receive more of Love's blessings.
