Status: offline 		Please share prayers with me for my Sister Rose who had a mini-stroke yesterday. This is her second stroke and a worse one was averted thankfully, by bringing her blood pressure down.  J

I am so sorry to hear about your sister Rose. They have so many new stroke medications. I too will light a candle under ALL.

Status: offline 		Jude, sorry I've been out of touch, I just read your post about your sister, Rose.  I'm glad to hear there's reason for optimism.  I'm keeping her in my thoughts and prayers and lighting a candle for her recovery.  Please keep us posted as to how she's doing, and also let us know how you are doing emotionally with this news.

Status: offline 		Jude, I'm so sorry to hear that the relief you felt about Rose's condition has turned to worry again.  Is she scheduled to be seen by her doctor any time soon?

I've lit a candle for her and will add my prayers to the others who are praying for her.

Status: offline 		Dear all, Thank you for your prayers. I'm hoping Rose will see her doctor soon. There is a worrying trend here in the U.K. where the over 70s come well down on the list of priorities in the Health Service, and shamefully, doctors etc, have to be nagged. Normally Rose is on the ball with regard to nagging so I hope she will.
The hospital has changed her blood pressure tablets - it's now up to her doctor to prescribe them.

Status: offline 		Sweet Rose is kept in my prayers. May she get all that she needs from the Doctors. And a swift kick to the UK health care system...because I for one and grateful for all the over 70's and pray they stick around for quite sometime spreading their joy, love, and wisdom around. Because this young woman needs it!! They are #1 in my book.

Here's hoping Rose's nagging will reach a new level (with her doctors that is) !
