How can gratefulness be transformed into Peace Activism in your life?
I have created an interactive peace site, featuring my award winning poem, Peace Prayer, below. I invite Gratefulness.org members to post their Peace Poem or Prayer in my Forum.
On my site, you can Click to Donate Free Food and Medicine to help fight global hunger and poverty. The donations are paid for by the sponsors and distributed by America's Second Harvest and Mercy Corps, worldwide.
Over 29,000 people die from hunger related causes each day. Three quarters of them are children under the age of five.
I am grateful to live in a country where there is abundance and my grandchildren will never know extreme hunger and poverty.
If you are grateful also, please visit my site and take a moment to share the abundance with children in need. Together we can promote peace and make a difference in the lives of children.
Peace Prayer
God grant the world the will to live in peace,
To end all conflict and make hostility cease.
If we are tolerant of others, we can accept who they are.
There would be no reason to kill, maim or scar.
What will it take to wake us from our sleep?
We must stand for peace and freedom.
As we sow, so shall we reap.
