I lit a candle for my son Daniel who lost his life to ALS at age 34. This is my first Christmas without him. He was my youngest son and I miss him.

This loss leaves a part of me missing. No one can understand , can they? Inless they've felt the loss. My wishes for you are to remember your child every day, just like I do, and If I cry, so be it. Thanks for the support and your reply.

I pray for your loss and I thank you for sharing your experience with me. Life is hard to live sometimes. I have my son's 4 year old twins in my life now. But, they still cannot take his place. Just a reminder that life cycle goes on. Thanks for your reponse,

I cannot share your deep loss of a child however my Mom transitioned last year right before the holidays so this year was difficult...I've come to realize she is just seperated from me not lost. I will always have her spirit right here with me in the love I have for her and my many memories. I will pray for you and Daniel.
