I agree. I've convened an online group for survivors of child abuse using messenger conferencing, and it works well, as long as the ground rules are well established, and each person feels a sense of participation in and ownership in the group. It also works well with a maximum of eight in the group, but any more than two can work. I hope others are interested. Maybe people could indicate days and times which would suit them.
I just realised that I didn't specify that I thought of a real-time group, as a face-to-face group would be, but using conferencing.
