Dearest Edda, I'm sure you and Leon both have much ahead of you, but think how much of this you have behind you!!  It's so good to hear the long-awaited good news.  I'm continuing my prayers for Leon's healing.  I hope you're going to be able to rest a little while he's in the hospital.  Treat yourself with lovingkindness.

Dear Lori and Glenys,

Thank you so much for your kind messages, wishes and prayers. I do hope we will have a bit of more peaceful time together once Leon is up on his feet and able to get around. I am enjoying some comfortable nights in my own bed without frequent interruptions! My hairdresser said the other day, "You don't look any worse for the wear!" Comforting!? Certainly well-meant!

This morning Leon was in good spirits and ate his breakfast. He does not have any pain other than muscle spasms at night. All this is good evidence that your prayers are at work!!

So glad to hear that Leon is doing well. He will be walking around soon. Just one step at a time. I bet it is a relief just to have the surgery behind you. Now comes the road to recovery. Take good care of the patient and yourself!

I one for believe that is a God,Edda. I mean all things

Today, Leon took his first steps in nine months and walked in the hallway with the help of a walker!

Edda, What a joy that must have been for you after such a long struggle. May each day bring more and more improvement for Leon, and more time for Edda to just begin to let out a long sigh of relief and finally be able to begin to relax a little.

Thank you, Betty, for your continued support! Leon is supposed to get transferred to the Rehabilitation Unit today. Yes, I can relax a little, especially get some nights of uninterrupted sleep! Walking back and forth from the hospital supplies me with enough exercise!

That's wonderful news, that he will be transferred to the rehabilitation unit.  That sounds like a really positive sign.  I'm keeping you both in my thoughts.
