Thankful One, I especially like the James Taylor song. Thanks for posting that link to the video. (p.s. Did you know Dolly Parton did "I Will Always Love You" before Whitney Houston did? Though the two versions were nothing at all alike. Just a little music trivia.

I did not know Dolly had done that song so I looked it up and loved it. Thanks for letting me know about this. Please let me know more music trivia.

Dolly Parton - I will always love you

Did you know that Dolly Parton has decided to send children's books to every child in Tennessee that signs up? I heard that she sends thousands of great books every month in the mail to encourage children to read. It's a cool practical thing to do.

you have touched all my favorites ad brought tears to my eyes with "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" that was Mom and mine favorites we had a Sunday afternoon concert every week for years playing all our favorite albums then Tapes turned to CDs I still do this that song was how she saw our shared relationship the afternoon before she passed she said to me "it's your time to shine".... I also love Dolly Parton's rendition "I Will Always Love You" I love so many songs and genres its hard to pick one. Tonight I was walking outside and the moon came up and it was a calming light. I realized that this same moon shines over everyone in this forum from Austria to Australia. Hi to all the fellow travelers on this planet that share this same moon.

The moonshadows the moon was generously giving were soft and gentle as if to comfort me in my solitary walk. Thank you moon for your blessings.

I thought of the following song and wanted to share it with my friends here. It is an old song from 1976. Knowing and appreciating it dates me but I am glad to be older anyway so I don't care. This is the age that I get to enjoy to the fullest.
