Joe,
Great video. It certainly made me smile and giggle. I won't spoil it for others so everyone watch this one for a laugh.

Glad to know how the Aussies take care of business.

I hope you are doing well and that your heart is continuing to doing the healing work you have started and made good progress with.

Good luck with your music. Please send us any links to it when you can.

Jessica,
Thanks for posting the video link to Love is in the Air. The music is uplifting and upbeat. It is snappy and hard not to like.

The video pictures add a special touch. The photos are one of the best compliments to a song I've seen of the many videos I watch every week (I refuse to watch television).

It would be practically impossible to watch this and not be in a better mood after watching this.

I especially like the giraffes, the sea lions and the rhinos.

Jessica,
I just got caught up on your previous video posts. Thanks for sharing these.

I especially liked the video on loving. The quote that "You are blessed to be loved, but you are doubly blessed to be able to love" was great.

Here's a video that I found when looking at your selections that it is very simple but effectively relaxing. The calming music goes well with the beautiful videography of many waterfalls.

Havasupai Indian Waterfall Relaxation

Here's a 26 minute video that is rainforest sounds with background music. The video is fairly static but the music is nice to listen to while moving around the house.

Amazon Rainforest Relaxation Video

Here's another 5 minute video with Incan pan pipes and a drum with a Native American feel.

Thankful One, how do you post links with just the blue title and not all the youtube mumbo jumbo???? I would really like to know how to do that.  Thanks.

Jessica

Thankful one -> RE: Videos which are uplifting... (5/8/2008 7:50:52 AM)

Jessica,
I am sure there are other ways, but here's what I do.

I do a search for some video.

Then I copy the writing when it is in blue writing before I click on the blue writing.

When I see a video that I like after it has played, I click a video near it and then look for the blue writing.

Then the title comes up in the "Related Videos" on the right side of the page after the next video is played.

Then I copy this and post it.

If none of this works, I put the name of the song in the empty box on top of the page and then hit search and then copy this writing when it comes up.

I make sure that I watch the whole video first to make sure there is nothing objectionable.

Then, and this is important, I say a prayer that people who watch this video will be blessed.

Let me know if this helps and if not, I'll try again.

Thank you, Joe!

I find it fascinating, too. Having listened to it, I find myself ready to set about some chores which I don´t like doing, to put it mildly. [;)]

Joe,
I liked your video selection and have never seen one like it. Very nice music.

Here's one for you that I like from the Shakers "Tis a Gift to be Simple".

Simple Gifts - Listen to a Sunrise... 2.3 minutes soft but nice

Simple Gifts  7.37 minutes but worth it for it's originality

Here's a couple from Riverdance.

This is a tender song that is sung softly. 2 min

elvis presley - always on my mind

Sometime I'll tell you about going to the annual Elvis impersonator contest...

buttington -> RE: Videos which are uplifting... (6/7/2008 9:22:33 AM)

T.O. I'm all agog now!!!!!!!!!! [:D] Don't tell me you were one of them?????  Jude

Thankful one -> RE: Videos which are uplifting... (6/10/2008 1:02:41 AM)

Jude,
Let's put it this way. I didn't win the contest. There was a kid Elvis, a Japanese Elvis, a Black Elvis, a female Elvis, and of course an older Grandpa Elvis. Many of them felt called to be Elvis impersonators and had left their regular jobs to be an Elvis impersonator full-time, much to the dismay of some of their wives.

On a different note, I thought that these videos were light hearted.

peanuts charles schulz  An awesome classic piano theme song played well with feeling.
Charlie Brown - Schroeders Theme!  Beautiful piano music played very well. Charlie Brown, Snoopy & the Peanuts Gang  A jazzy version of the old piano song. [image]http://texasholdemblogger.files.wordpress.com/2007/05/charlie_brown_lucy_football.jpg[/image]

A nice easy song about love with a nice video involving kids from a genuinely caring man

Bob Marley - Is This Love

This love song video has a great song with pictures of some dancing animals. The message is, "Don't worry about a thing".

Bob Marley - Three little birds
