Jessica, I love the story of your user name. From the videos you have posted, you don't seem to be one who lurks in dark corners. We are pleased you decided to join us rather than lurking in the background here. Bravo for the creativity of your name.

Thankful one, I tried your techie advice but it just doesn't work for me. Perhaps it is because I use an IMac rather than a PC or maybe it's just that I am totally techie challenged. SIGH Sometimes one just needs to let go. If you are looking for more flower pictures, you might check international flower growers or growers in South America. After years a as a floral designer, I had developed an excellent list of suppliers who always pictured their stock on the web.

Leonardo's Virgin and Child with St Anne

I had the enormous pleasure and wonder of seeing this painting when I was in Paris in 1984.

Thank you, Thankful One! The only problem now: Which one to choose as a screen-saver?

I was headed to post in "Today I am Grateful For" however I clicked and find myself here and I have enjoyed the wonderful beauty and photos Imenuff  I also am techy challenged despite being able to maintain a web page I cannot seem to use Thankful Ones help either especially when tryng to share the you tube music. links....so I have surrendered that my gifts lie elsewhere and I will be content to share my gratitude with all who bring us these joys here. Joe my mother was Blessed to have a trip to Italy she also delighted and appreciated viewing the art which she describes as you have in person it is awesome

I just learned that flamingos have pink plumage because of the food they eat. When they are in captivity, they need color artificially added to their diet to maintain their coloring.

If you have trouble posting photos, here's a suggestion. If you right click on the photo and then right click again in your post and nothing shows up, try this. Click the right arrow to the right of the letters once or twice or try clicking enter to go to the next line. Sometimes this will make the photo appear. Other times you just need to wait a minute after right clicking in your post for the photo to load. Be patient and sometimes it will just appear. If it doesn't, try the clicking method above. Once you get it a photo post done once, it becomes way cool to share beauty like this.
