Thankful one, beautiful pictures of the flowers and mountains. I cannot pick a favorite flower, they are all so eye catching. Thank you for bringing us an endless supply of pretty flowers. Refreshing!

I am slowly getting small sprouts about an inch, of the 60 packets of flower seeds that I planted. Your pictures bring the possibilities of flowers to life. The ones that I have that are already in bloom are in containers. So far my deep purple pansies with white trim are the best. Pretty. LOL.

God bless
Marie

Marie,
Do your purple pansies look like this or do they have more white trim?

Hello Thankful one, my pansies are the dark purple, not the blue purple, and the back petals are white, no white in the center. They look lovely as they sway in the wind with the two tones. I also have ruffled pansies this year, a flower that is new to me, they are a little smaller with longer stems.

Thank you for the picture. Pansies are one of my favorites, but I like all flowers. I am further out west and blooming is slow, my first daffodil just bloomed a few days ago. I was going to pick it for the kitchen table, but after waiting so long for them to arrive, I will wait for more of them to bloom.
Can you name some of the flowers? You have a great eye for picking them. LOL.

God bless
Marie

This is an amorphophallus titanum plant, also known as the corpse flower at the University of Connecticut greenhouse in Storrs, Conn., Saturday, May 12, 2007. The rare flower, native to the rain forests of Sumatra, Indonesia, began blooming on Friday and is expected to last for 48 hours.

Juliana,
Here are some red poppies.

I want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers in a special way for being so kind to me for so long.
