T,O, Thank you for your thoughts and picture. I have one of your choices as my desktop. The green woodland road. It kept me calm at a difficult time.

Blessings to you,
Love, Jude

Life is beautiful. Despite all it's ups and downs (which are more numerous than we want), I still manage to wake up each day with a little joy in my heart and a little bounce in my step. I now take time every day to say something to make most of the people I interact with smile. When you get into it, it's a way to bring a little joy in their life. Thanks to all of you for helping me with this critical attitude adjustment.

Today I was at a stoplight and the car next to me was a very bright blue. I was dressed up for a job interview and the Black gentleman in the blue car looked tired. I motioned to him and asked him a question. He rolled down his window to better hear what I was saying. I told him I really liked the color of his car. He smiled a nice smile. I asked him the name of the color. He said it was called a bright cobalt blue. I told him his car looked very nice. He said thanks. He rolled up the window and both he and his female companion were smiling as they drove off. As the Mastercard ad says, Priceless!

The color was similar to this butterfly.

Maybe a little more like this color with its intensity.

Butterflies remind me not to get "too heavy" about anything and not let anything get me down. They seem to be a little above all the heaviness I feel on the earth some days. I see them as a gentle reminder from God to just feel the wind in the lives and to feel comfortable moving about through all our changes.

Thanks to those who have sent messages to me that they like seeing all the pictures of a few beautiful photos that I and others have posted. Please feel free to post yourself as it is easy and quite a lot of fun. Even more important is to let the beauty of life seep into your spirit in the wonderful way that beauty shows up in some of the most unlikely places.

Thankful one, butterflies are symbols of resurrection, new life! How appropriate!

Thank you for the many beautiful pictures. I have been able to copy some of them into my e-mail, much to the delight of the recipients!

Good night to all and know that you are appreciated for who you are regardless of what you are going through.

Know that you will survive to live and enjoy new days with a new sweet attitude and a joyful heart.

Remember to let people around you feel the love that God brings to each of us. You can't share a little sweetness without feeling as little sweeter yourself.

T.O. That colour blue is probably my most favourite colour!

I'm impressed by your interaction with the other motorist. I think I would have been worried that the reaction would not have been a friendly one. It just goes to show that most people, despite our worries, are friendly and good natured, and spreading a little happiness is well worthwhile. After all, when a stranger smiles at me in the street I immediately feel better.

T.O. all your little acts of kindness are going to come back to you in abundance, very soon I'm sure.

The pictures were beautiful. Only last night, before I went to bed, I was catching up on some of your past picture posts, which, before I had Broadband, often took too long to load on my computer.

Keep looking up. Love, Jude

T.O. I have only briefly been on the forum lately. I apologize for not thanking you for the Allegheny National Forest picture. Going off in the woods always seems to put life back into perspective. I especially like long walks in the woods during winter. The bare trees, to me are the most beautiful. It is then that all the twists, turns, and contorted downward movement of the branches is visible. Yet, in spite of all these seemingly crooked curvatures, in the end, the tips of the branches consistently move outward and upward, so much like our own lives.

Thank you for posting all the pictures of butterflies. They remind me of a period of life in which everything for me was about butterflies. At that particular time, I did not realize the significance of my spirit being enthralled with butterflies. It was as though my spirit within was calling for this new life with an all encompassing, ravenous hunger. As the story of the sculptor goes, "It's like the kid watching the sculptor, who said, as the figure being carved began to become evident to the child, "How did you know she was in there?" She was always in there the Sculptor replied, but needed the painful chipping away of parts that were not really her, so that what was hidden could come to the light, and more fully to life." Thank you for your prayers. The Sculptor has not yet finished and again, the sometimes painful chipping away is in process. The decision must again be made to allow the catepiller to enter the crysilis and become a little more of what it was always meant to be.

Your story about the gentleman in the blue car is a wonderful story about the gift of new life that we are all empowered to birth into the world each day.
Prayers continue for the gift of full employment. May your new position bring those you work with the Beauty of the Invisible Embrace. Thank you for reminding all of us to allow the Spirit Wind to freely carry us to where we need to be.

May you have a Spirit Wind weekend and may your "butterfly in process" bring you to the heights and depths of new life that you never dreamed possible.

Jude and Betty,
Thank you so much for your responses. I'm glad you have enjoyed the photos I am fortunate to share. Caterpillars are a  good metaphor for an individual about to burst forth into a new beautiful form.
