I support each of us who is trying to follow their own path to wherever they feel they need to go. Happy trails to everyone however you choose to travel and with whomever you want to travel with at any one time!

It's always one step at a time and always worth the effort.

It's like what they say - "If the path to the top of the mountain was smooth, you couldn't climb it..."

I know for myself that sometimes the path seems unnecessarily rocky, but how great if feels to know we have crossed that part of the path.

Notice the person in the middle of this photo.

T.O., I apologize for not responding to your pictures sooner. It was soooooooooooo good to see you back once again. I pray that the roofing job went well and has given you a bit of security for housing for at least a few months. As I looked at the picture of the beautiful blue water shining forth through the opening in the dark cave, prayers went out for you that soon you, too, will find that opening in the dark cave that shines forth on the beginning of your new life.

Well, the roofing job has not come through just yet.

A friend went to the food bank for some food for me.

Another unknown friend gave a friend $200 to tide me over. Unexpected blessings are also so welcome.

I want to send each of you a little bit of beauty tonight.

T.O.It was good to see you back. Again thank you for the peace filled pictures. I love the cloud picture. The others reminded me of the scripture quote about the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. This sounds like one of those times in life for you where one just digs in with their fingernails and hangs on. These are really not pleasant times to go through, but in the midst of them, it is real gift to see how the Holy One shares in them with us by providing assistance through those who are open to the promptings of the Spirit. I have no doubts that when this time has turned positive for you, you will gift others who are where you were. Often times, that seems a benefit of these times in life. They make us more willing to "ask" for help and also help us realize when assistance is needed from others without it being asked for. I have no doubts that the "Blue Sky" will return for you and pray that you be sustained by those special "Little Surprises" until it does. Will continue to pray for your safety when the roofing job does come to fruition.

Dearest good natured and sweet friends,

Life is so wonderful when we stop and think of all the many blessings that we get the opportunity to experience.

It's friendships that make the life we live so full of goodness and contentment.

At the end of the day, well, it's the end of the day and in the morning we get a whole brand new day to make what we want and to share some beauty.

I got word that I will get the roofing job soon.

I am so grateful to have all of you in my life and to have developed a sense of wonder at all the beauty that surrounds each of us every time we look.

I send all my love to all of you and keep you in my prayers daily.

T.O., prayers continue for your safety and good weather for your roofing job. Hopefully, it will help as you transition to where the Holy One knows that you will be happiest. A very special part of your post included the lines

It is so important to remember (at least for me) that no matter how the day before went, no matter mistakes, etc., this is a new day fill with new, sustaining surprises from the Holy One, if only I am open enough to see them.
