Right back at you with a picture of a dandelion. There is such beauty in simple ordinary things if we will change our viewpoint and just open our eyes.

Such a treasure . . .
You know that God has his eye, even on the sparrow, even on me.
I am not a "Christian" per se . . . but use the word "God" to mean our Source, our Home, Universal Love, because I believe it exists.

T.O. and Sparrow, How lovely to see a picture of the humble sparrow! To think I took it for granted in my childhood, and even got tired of it's incessant chirping in the eaves, but when one was found dead I would find a box and hold a funeral for it, despite my family's obvous humour.

Now, it is becoming rare in Britain, like a lot of other song birds. We need to put nature back into balance because we are a part of it. Bees are also in danger, and they say that when the bees disappear, we will also, 4 years after.

To Jude . . . the bees are endangered here in the US too . . . the bees, the polar bears . . . what next?
What have done to this beautiful planet?

Hello Thankful one . . .
I am so happy you have returned. I don't know what your situation is, but I was glad to see your new post. Yes, the bees and all they do is an absolute miracle. It's amazing to know how much we depend on their presence as they quietly go about their business of making honey and pollenating the world! The honeycomb is a magical thing. When I was a little girl my grandfather would take me to the farmer's market and buy a little square honeycomb for the table. It was such a marvel to me that bees made those intricate little chambers and filled them up so perfectly with honey. Those trips to the farmer's market for honey are some of my fondest memories of my grandfather. Thank you so much for reminding me!
