Dear T.O.,

Thank you for your reflections on rain, and the pictures that go along with it!
Rain has so many moods. A steady, gentle rain may be soothing. It may feel sad when falling from a dark sky as if it was weeping. And then again, when rain drops catch rays of sun, they glisten and sparkle and make everything look like set with jewels.

I am glad that the roof you are working on is not leaking. Good job!

Love, Edda

I am happy to hear, Thankful one, that the roof is not leaking, and that the rain has given you a little chance to mend your tired muscles. I'm grateful for the beautiful photographs that you post . . . candy for the eyes. There truly is such beauty in the world. I love the rain...your second picture looks like the Smoky mountains, fog lying in ribbons across the range. When it rains here I can almost hear my garden going, "aaaaaaah!"
Happy Roofing!
with love . . .

T.O. Congratulations! on your roofing skills!! It is good to know that the roof doesn't leak and that you are safe with the rainy days giving you a chance for rest and recuperation. Your comment By the way, being on a roof allows me to see above higher than the regular earthly plane. I allow myself to rise above the day to day jive and take a more heavenly viewpoint brought to mind the scene in "Dead Poets Society" where the teacher has the students stand on the desks and look around so that they can see things from a new perspective. This truly is one of the gifts of our online family, each of us has a different perspective to share with the rest of the family and the perspectives of the whole family are enhanced. The tiny little raindrops reflection so much of the world around them are pure gift; as Sparrow says "candy for the eyes." Edda, isn't it wonderful that the rains can take on such special qualities depending upon where each of us is, and yet there is always the life paradox of how much destruction this "thing" of utter beauty can cause.

T.O. Stay safe and thank you for sharing your rainy day wisdom with us. May the employment fog soon lift and the freshly washed creation of new employment fill your life.

i am doing well and in love with my life and the wonder-ful aspects of it

i can safely say that my life has never, ever been better than it is now

i am happy and as content as i have ever been

i pray that each of us gets to grasp the full beauty of this day and takes just a minute to celebrate living on this glorious planet

Dear Thankful one . . .
Your photo for me made me laugh out loud . . . the cat in my lap jumped down in fright.
I too, am the happiest and most content that I have ever been in my life and it has nothing to do with money or status or success (I know this because I have very little of these things). Amazing, isn't it?
How is the roofing job coming? and the sore muscles?
Thanks again for the spectacular photographs. They can't help but remind us how beautiful our world really is.
with love . . .

T.O. It is good to see your posts and the pictures. Thank you so much for all the "blues". Your glacier and antartica pictures remind me of a glacier cave in Switzerland. Despite the biting cold and fears that needed to be faced to reach that height, it was one of those very precious "Be still and know that I am God" jewels of creation . Thank you for taking me back to those moments of peace filled serenity and surrender.
One can almost detect the gently wafting, calming fragrance of the vibrant lavender as it dances in the field.
It is wonderful to read "all the news here is good news; it seems the tide is turning for me in many areas of my life all at the same time;sometimes i pinch myself to make sure i am not dreaming..."
Prayers continue that this dream may come into being with all the goodness with which you have created it in your mind's eye.
Stay safe, T.O. God Speed.

Dear Thankful one . . .
I love how you draw such lovely and wise analogies from the nature that you so obviously connect to . . . I too, feel that nature is where my soul lives, and have always done my best to live in places where my feet can touch the earth. They say that people who live in cities, and only walk on concrete and asphalt, are soul-deprived . . . I believe this.
After toiling away in the garden I always feel a sense of peace inside . . . a feeling of wholeness. Your photographs return me to that feeling.
You are a very wonderful and special person, and thank you for sharing a little bit of your journey with all of us.
with love. . .
