T.O. what a rich and satisfying picture of bread to be shared! Thank you!

How is the roof coming along? I hope the weather your way is more conducive to roofing than what has blown in here!

Love,
Edda

Fall weather is beautiful.

The roof comes and goes in spurts due to the rain and the cold winds. Hopefully, the end is in sight.

I have become a much greater fan of the grasses. If you give them half a chance, their beauty becomes quite apparent.

In the South, the most magnificient tree here is the White Oak. It is certainly not the showiest fall tree (who can compete with the maples?), it still has a beauty all it's own.

Autumn is a time for gazing at forests and not looking at any one tree.

I wonder how anyone can see the delicate beauty of the world and not believe in a higher power!

Although I have not had the time to do it, fall is a great time around here to take a drive. Although the Europeans with their sense of environmentalism (Juliana?) may frown on this, there is a wonderful thing with the exquisite beauty of fall trees one observes just as I go around each day.

Even poison ivy seems to want to make amends for all it's problems by putting on a show each autumn as if to claim it's rightful place in the grand scheme of things.

Everything has beauty to share if we just give it half a chance. May each of us take a minute to see the beauty in each circumstance and each individual before we make judgments.

Maples however really do make the season so special here... It's as if they say that we all have our season to bloom and let's go ahead and share all of our beauty.

T.O. One of my favourite pastimes is 'rambling' in the car especially at this time of year. Unfortunately I don't get to do it much these days.
It's not too bad environnmentally. I walk everywhere as a rule!

Ah me, Thankful one . . .
I am terribly allergic to poison ivy, but you have made me re-think my position.

I can learn to appreciate its beauty while restraining the desire to touch it.
A tall order certainly but I work on it every day

Dear T.O. yes, we are surrounded with the beauty of nature especially in fall with all those beautiful colours lighted by tender sunshine...But as "THE BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER" , we sometimes do not see that beauty because we are too hurt  or just occupied with everyday`s problems...But we must find time to watch and to see that beauty and we`ll feel better.I am grateful that I CAN see all that beauty that heals my heart and soul...

T.O. It is so good to see you back again. Thank you for the most recent blue pictures. They truly help one to sink into the blue sea of hope. One could almost smell the inviting warm fragrance of the bread, just coming out of the oven pleading to be slathered with butter and home made jelly while it was still warm so that the harmony of tastes resurrect our sleeping palates and warm the cockles of our souls. Autumn is such a very special time to be grateful for all that has been and spend time in quiet openness for all that will be. Take care of you and be safe as you complete your roofing. Prayers continue for all your projects that they may come to fulfillment beyond your wildest dreams.
