Dear T.O., thank you for all your bouquets and flowers. They really brighten this damp, grey fall day!
I hope your roof will be finished before the weather gets too bad to work on it!

Much love,
Edda

Thank you T.O. especially for the Michaelmas daisies...some of my favourite flowers.

Thankful one . . . thank you so much for the hosta and ferns . . . we so often forget the "shade" plants. As I have so much shade in my garden I was forced against my will to look into shade plants. Hosta and ferns have become my favorites. They drink in the shade and satisfy my desire to make things grow. Of course mine have all been nibbled down by the deer until next year . . .
with love . . . and another thanks

T.O. thank you for the very special flowers, the wonderful autumn boquets, and especially your comment "it's kind of funny it's fall i'm getting older i feel that i am blooming in beautiful ways that i never have it's way cool." Right now, I can feel the "getting older part" as the body creeks and aches from yesterday's outdoor work. It is good to hear the joy in your post as you allow yourself to be "blossomed" in new ways and in new endeavors. Know that prayers continue for your safety in roofing and for all your new endeavors to reach the full bloom of summertime. May each day lead you closer to the fulfillment of your dreams.
Sparrow, you too have brightened my morning as I picture the little Bambies coming up to your garden and having breakfast. Such a gentle encounter of peace and tranquility.

i want to thank everyone who has shown concern for the security of an old guy doing a roof

the roof is completely done

gratefully i have only some sore muscles but no other damages

the photo below is a bunch of valentine's day hearts put together creatively

i wanted to thank all of you for your great "heart" you so freely share with me

the heart is a universal sign that as far as i know in almost all cultures is a symbol of love

my heart goes out to all of you in my daily prayers

with words like " a heart to heart talk"

"heartfelt"

"full of heart"

we all speak of love being shared

T.O., thank you for your "hearty" contribution of pictures!
I am glad the roof is done and you are safe!

Have a restful Sunday,
Love,
Edda

buttington -> RE: Today, I'm grateful for beauty... (11/15/2008 4:02:13 PM)

Dear T.O. thank you so much for all the wonderful hearts![:)]

I too am glad the roof job was completed safely.

Wishing you all good things,

Love, Jude

buttington -> RE: Today, I'm grateful for beauty... (11/15/2008 4:04:32 PM)

P.S.

T.O......not so much of the"old guy." [;)] I'm older than you and don't consider myself old yet.

Love, Jude

lilsparrow -> RE: Today, I'm grateful for beauty... (11/15/2008 4:21:24 PM)

Thank you too, Thankful one, for all of the hearts.
Glad to hear the roof is completed before the snow flies (do you have snow where you live...in the south I think, but I don't know how far south).
You can always make me smile . . . so can Edda with her "hearty" comments.
Jude, most days I don't consider myself old either. My 95 year old "surrogate mother" who was a dear friend always said the same thing too. Her youthful energy shamed me into appreciating that I can get up every morning.
Blessings and a beautiful weekend to all
with love . . .
sparrow

okay jude, so i am not old but feeling a little less youthful now and then

i think the key is to acting young
