Reading the various forums, posts and articles on this site, I wondered if any other members and visitors would like to form a candle-lighting group for those facing the particular challenges of unemployment - whether through redundancy, disability or any other problem in the workplace ?

If anyone shares this concern or faces this situation, please light a candle here and add 'Grace' in the group name.

Welcome, Grace! I am retired but I am concerned about those who are unemployed. They face a very difficult time in their lives as I know from friends and others in this situation. A friend in Austria had knee surgery and can't work as a roofer anymore. He has great difficulty finding other employment while worrying about how to support his wife and two young children.
I'll be glad to light a candle.

What a wonderful idea, Grace. Poverty, in any form, is the breeding ground for so much sorrow. I will be more than happy to light a candle for employment and everything it can mean.

I will light a candle for those in trouble, homeless, sick, unemployed, facing hardships.
Lord hear their prayers.

I went to the candle sight - I couldn't find your candle(s)
I lite mine under "UNEM" .

If you search 'Grace' in the group search option, you will find the group's candles.
