A post on the 30th of each and every month represents a thought, a prayer, or a message of hope for Natalee and her family even if the family does not see it. It is a message to all that we remember, that we will continue to be by their side, and that we have not and will not forget Natalee or her family.

There is no returning to yesterday and we do not know what tomorrow will bring, so we must make each day that comes a day of hope and prayer for Natalee and her family.

Another Christmas Season has passed as well as another year coming to an end again without knowing where Natalee may be or the truth of her fate. Could she still be alive somewhere, kept against her will, or has she been gone since that fateful day in May. There are those who know, but will not reveal the truth and do not understand just how this affects so many, especially her family members and friends. But, Natalee's fate is in the hands of God and He is in control of the situation. Whatever happens will be through Him and in His timing.

There are so many wonderful, loyal, loving, and caring people from so many places who continue to give of themselves in support of Natalee and her family by offering prayers and keeping up hope that one day soon this will all end and Natalee will be found and returned home where she belongs.

There is nothing we can physically do but keep our faith and hope strong; keep the image and name of Natalee alive; and continue to be the Guardians of Natalee's Hope without reservation and unconditionally. Natalee is pure in her heart, her mind, and her faith and we must strive to be the same. In the name of Natalee and for the love of Natalee, we must be her protector/defender as she can not protect/defend herself.

Each of us has a personal responsibility to honor the commitment made to Natalee that we will not give up. Life must go on, but as it does we will not forget and we will wait for her to return.

We have been through times when we thought the answers would be brought forth and we were so disappointed when nothing came to fruition. We know that there are truths to be revealed because someone knows the truth and we know that Natalee is out there somewhere waiting to be found and returned home.

We must continue to make those who may not be aware that Natalee is still missing - we must keep her name out there for all to remember - we must keep her image in the minds of all. We can never let her be forgotten. This is not over and will never be until Natalee is found and returned home with the dignity and grace that she and her families so deserve.

Please set aside a few moments from your busy day and sit quietly to reflect just why we have been and will continue to be here for Natalee and her families and say a special prayer for them. And, if you are so inclined, please offer your thoughts and words of support for Natalee and her family members and friends.

Remember also that the Christmas Season is beginning and this time will be difficult for Natalee's families. This will be the fifth year that Natalee will not physically be home for Christmas. But, she will be there in spirit and in the heart for all hearts come home for Christmas.

Natalee, no one knows just where you are
Whether you might be near or far
But one thing is so very true
And that is so many love and miss you

The time just slowly keeps going by
We see those who love you hurt and cry
And each and every day they pray
And hope that it just might be the day

We have watched seasons come and seasons go
And yet we still do not know
What really happened on that fateful day
Back in 2005 in the month of May

The road we have traveled together has been long
And many times the way we were led was wrong
But we remain steadfast in our way
And nothing said or done will make us sway

Natalee, you are why we have come here
It is you that we hold so very dear
We have hope, we have faith, and we pray
That you will be returned home one day

Our mission here has no bound
Because as yet you have not been found
We will continue until we find you, Natalee
And return you to your loving family

We have been allowed to come to know this young woman, Natalee, through pictures and videos and descriptions of her from her family members and her many friends. We were also given the opportunity to read three of the writings from the Journal that Natalee kept and saw that she was a very astute young woman who had the same questions and thoughts about life as many of us. We have come to think of her as someone we have known all our lives and, although we came to know her under such terrible circumstances, we are extremely grateful that she was brought into our lives.

Unless we have been in a situation such as this, we have not had to experience the not hearing a soft and familiar voice - we have not had to experience the longing for a warm and loving embrace, not seeing the sparkle of beautiful blue eyes or the smile from a loving daughter. There are some here, though, that have been or are in this situation and they can relate to what life is like and continues to be when there is no closure. We will never know just exactly how that hurt really feels. We speak our thoughts as we would feel if Natalee was our daughter, but unless we have been there and experienced something as terrible as this, there is no way we can truly understand just how completely devastating it must be. We do not have to go to bed each night after another day of unknowing, asking God to help us prepare for another day. But, this has been the life of Natalee's family members now for 1,615 days.

We must continue to offer up to God our prayers for Natalee and her family because if we quit we would be giving up on Natalee. We must continue to speak of her, think of her, pray for her and defend her. For however long it takes, we must have faith and hope in our heart for the one we truly care so much about - Natalee.

Natalee is like the pink rose - a symbol of hope and faith and an image that never fades from the mind. She is a part of our being and will be in our hearts forever.

Re:Natalee Holloway (Hildegard)

 Dear Grass,

I'll light another candle for Natalee and her family!

With every good wish,
Edda
Re:Natalee Holloway (sandra67)

The reality is that life must go on, but that does not mean that you should not remember

This is very true Louis very true indeed.

I read the story of dear Natalee and it's heart breaking.I hope there is closure for this family very soon .Every parent should know where there child is.
