Dear Betty,

Thank you for your prayers. We received a disappointment this morning. We were ready to be discharged when Leon's MD received a report of two positive blood cultures meaning there could be an infection in his blood stream even though he doesn't look like it. We have to wait and find out what bacteria might be involved.

Prayers for your retreat! This sounds like too many retreats for one person to conduct. Caring for people so intensely takes a lot out of you! I trust the Lord will "fill you up" again!

Edda, your weather sounds like ours only minus snow. Cold, wind chill in the 20's, dark, dreary and rainy. The temp without the windchill is in mid 30's so no snow. Will keep you and Leon in prayer today as another retreat begins and runs through next Saturday. Thank God, this is the third and the Last until after Easter. The Divine is going to really have to take care of this one as I am in no mood to help lead another retreat for a whole week.
