Dean was 14 years old when she seemingly vanished off the face of the earth....do you believe in miracles and hope?I do, and I will never stop praying that she will be found.

I'd like to thank you all for your prayers for Dean Marie Pyle Peters. This beautiful young woman deserves peace and I hope she will be found soon.
To keep hope alive, I would like to put together a prayer book and somehow send it to Dean's family.

Thank you all, as this means a lot. I do not know her personally. But awareness is key, and so are all the hopes and prayers I can gather up for her friends and family out there who are still waiting for answers.
Any candles lit for her and prayers are appreciated.

As for me, my little sister didn't come home from school one day and we thought she was abducted-it was the most awful feeling. That's why cases like these are heartbreakers when you think about the families.

Tragedies of this kind
are so very hard for the family,
as closer does not come easily.
My heart breaks when I hear
that yet another child has disappeared without a trace.

Dean Marie Pyle Peters was last seen on February 5, 1981 with her mother at her brother's wrestling tournament at an afterschool program in Gand Rapids, MI. She told her mother that she had to go to the restroom. She simple vanished and 14 year old Deanie has not been seen since.
