Re:something to think about... - 11/19/2009 4:41 AM ( #321 )
When all our energies line up, our intention becomes an unstoppable force in the universe.

As we move into our heart caves this winter in the northern hemisphere, we revisit our past year and contemplate ways to use the wisdom we've acquired from our many teachers. What did you learn this past year? How will you use it in 2010? The world needs our thoughts, our actions, and our brilliance. It is time to transform our learning into new strategies to help expand consciousness in the world. We all have an important role to play and it is time to use our intention wisely.

It is cold outside, and we burrow deeper into the dark warmth of our sanctuary. As we do, we  recognize our shadows and we contrast them against our light. It is a time for  creating tension within. We reflect upon our gifts, while, in the solitude of ourselves, we must face the truth and assess how we've used what was given. It is time to illuminate the lingering shadows of our egos and turn them into energy for new growth.

This time of year, we also have an opportunity to experience water in its most outrageous forms and learn from its wild, unpredictable, changeable ways. Great insights arrive from learning fhis way. Like water during the winter, some days we will remain frozen with no movement at all; some days we will storm and create havoc; some days we will shroud ourselves in a thick veil of fog; and some days we will let our consciousness drift gently to earth like snowflakes over the frozen landscape. Throughout the winter, we will change our orientation often, exploring all our options and reviewing all our wisdom. We will use the reserves we have stored and finally we will arrive in the Spring, lean, renewed and ready to make a difference in the world with the precious elixir that was created by our condensation.

Our winter caves provide shelter from the world and this gives us unique opportunities to consider the most important topic for these times - intention. Do you understand how best to use it, or might you be suffering from Intention Deficit Disorder?

Water teaches us a lot about intention. It never loses its energy to complete a mission. Humans may not understand this imperative, but it is a simple one. Water either gives life or dissolves life and sweeps it away; and only the Gaia understands what is needed, when and where. As harsh as this seems, it is that kind of intention that keeps our world in balance.

Intention is the process of compressing our goals inside us so that all decisions, feelings, and actions are influenced by the tension created within. In-tension. We can use this process to become masters of our lives by using tension to manifest a better world. Before we judge tension as being a negative force, think of all the ways our planet relies on tension to create energy.

When the energy of one force pushes against the energy of another force, a third energy is created and a predictable response is the outcome. Consider what happens when we plunge something solid into water. The solid object pushes the water aside while the water pushes itself against the solid object. trying to reject it. Think of our intentions as a solid object, and think of the water as our world. The water doesn't make it easy for us to succeed. resist its force. But we will survive the pressure if we are strong. If, however, we become weak in any way, water will eventually push our intentions out or dissolve them. As long as we keep pushing outward, causing tension, we remain in equal balance with the outer pressures. When we relax or lose focus, our power dissolves. How many good intentions dissolved for lack of tension?

Spiritual teachers have been telling us how to set our intention for centuries; but do you feel like you have the process down pat?  Most people  have a limited intention span or seem somewhat confused about intention because they've "tried it" in the past with little or no results. Could it be we mis-understood, or was some of the information missing?

Here's the thing . . . conscious creation is a process of using everything we've got. We must remain "in-tension" in order to reach our destination and we must begin by using head and heart and everything in between.

The tension of our powerful solid ideas radiate continuous energy as we daydream, plan, or take positive action. At first, our radiant energy produces small ripples as it becomes more powerful than the water. Then larger ones. Because the ripples created by our tension move outward in concentric circles, they effect the collective unconscious. Reality begins to shift. The energy you launched with intention is affecting  everything it touches. But the moment we stop pushing, the energy relaxes and all motion is forgotten. The ripples finish their last course and die.

I can't tell you how many good intentions I have had, that ultimately dissolved. Mistakenly, I figured the universe had something different in mind for me since I didn't see instant manifestation.  Now I know that wasn't the truth. I just didn't stay engaged long enough for all my ripples to reach out into the whole pool of creation so they could change matter and give me the outcome I wanted.

How can we strengthen our intention? Success is assured when we use our tools. When you work with one, you move a small amount of energy toward your goal. But when you work with two or more, the effects are amplified exponentially - like watching a few drops of rain make thousands of overlapping ripples in a pond. We've all heard this profound statement of truth..."whenever two or more are gathered...etc." You see, our wise teachers have been giving us clues all along but we've been looking for magic!

Here's the magic . . . The energy of even the smallest effort moves swiftly through the pool of creation, and soon, that small effort has changed our reality. slightly. New opportunities appear. People come into our lives to help. Resources become available. Our minds continue to build upon our original cause and soon we find ourselves consumed by enthusiasm as we mentally "perfect" our creation using everything we have. We find ourselves physically working toward our goals. But it doesn't feel like labor or hard work. It feels like divine guidance as we begin each new day with excitement. Each day, new ideas arise and we add them to what was already there.

We've all watched people achieve success. They glow! That is the energy of the sacred tension of creation.

Remember this process each time you set even a small intention. It is YOU who has to keep the tension strong. But if you do, the rewards are golden. The key is to keep your goal alive in your heart and mind at all times. This also means to trust the process. Here are some tools you can use along the way to keep energy alive. Know what each one is and how to use it.

Values - Define what you care about most - daily
Purpose - Use your intent for highest good
Common Sense - be aware of cause and effect
Action - Do what is within your ability each day
Vision -  Direct your imagination to explore options
Dream -  Everything is possible! Feel it. Live it! Do it!
Hope - Engage your open heart and trust
Affirm - Practice believing in yourself
Brainstorm - Let your mind have some fun
Pretend -  What if you had already succeeded?
Pray - Renew your faith every day
Breathe - Inhale & exhale your intentions always
The Senses - Use all together to experience your goal

We are all mystics, shamans, time travelers, light workers, angels, and spirits in consciousness. Knowing that we have the necessary tools within us to create a new reality, we send ripples of strength and power into the vast collective unconscious so it can influence the existing reality. We maintain a steady flow of love energy, soul's purpose, brain power, emotional engagement, the power of all our senses,  and our openness to new insights with remarkable, eye-blinding speed.  In-tension within all these  moving energies we move cohesively toward our goals. We become a force that can only be stopped by ourselves. Everything else is already on-board going our way.

We are certain our intentions will manifest - we must be certain - or they won't.  Remember that the outcome has already been achieved in the cosmic pool of creation and all of life is waiting for you to arrive in your new reality. Your new creation is a divine gift to the world.

This winter, as you rest in your heart cave, go ahead and dream your good dream. See a vision of your new creation. We are here, saving a place for your success in the glow of divinity. Thank you in advance for your  courage. It means a lot to the world.

Call me, life, in tenderness
That I can fall like on downy feathers

To can walk on

Spend me, life, sensitive ears
To can hear the sound of

Friendship and love

Give me, life, smells of this Earth

As a gift to understand

If troubles and pain

Cross my way.
Call me, life, if in the gloomy nights

The ghosts of the past

Let me sweating all over,
To bring me back to the now and yet

And I will stay and respect you, life,

As a gift you can be.

Dearest Isabella,  Thank you for the your post and the richness and tender
gentleness of your poetic prayer.  One can almost feel the softness of the
"downey feathers;" and hear the warmth of the heart hugs in the "sound of
friendship and love."  I pray when "the ghosts of the past," come that you will
always remember those sounds of friendship and love and those soft downey feathers.
You have a wonderful gift of using words to so beautifully express feelings.  Your
November rose bud in its quiet struggle to bloom helps one remember that
there is always beauty to be found if we only look for it.  Thank you for being you
and for the many ways in which you gift all of us.   ~
Much love, hugs, and prayers,
Betty

Thank you, Isabella, for the picture of the rosebud waiting for one more warm day to open up and reveal its mystery and share its fragrance.

And thank you for poem/prayer!
May your heart and senses be open to receive the gifts life offers you in the present:
tenderness, love, friendship, the beauty of nature.
May they hold and sustain you, when memories of the past lurk in the darkness of night.
Let life open like the rosebud!

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!
